The grapes come from over a hundred-year-old vineyards from different plots, where white and red varieties were randomly planted, on very steep hills of slate soils
It presents a pale yet intense yellow colour with lemon hues.
The nose firstly features bananas, ripe stone fruit, the flesh of apples and the skin of quince. But soon after you realise that is a continuously evolving wine, showing flowers on one side and balsamic roots on the next, and whose fresh and ripe fruit turns into candied citrus fruit and fruit liqueur.
It never stops turning, displaying a colourful range of scents: green coffee beans, intense grape skin, chalk and oxidative strokes that close a circle which immediately opens up again.
It has a light-bodied attack, with a balanced progression and a creamy and supple touch. It is deep but delicate, fleshy yet fresh. A sensational acidity is compensated by its volume which also enhances said acidity. It has a delicious persistence over a roasted background, it is warm and yet very fruity, sparky and vibrant, with an elegant bitter finish.
Complex and elegant, long and refreshing, it urges you to pour yourself another glass.
Its amazing versatility allows all wine lovers -both expert and beginners- to enjoy it paired with the complete gastronomic spectrum: from the classics to the avant-garde, from traditional and/or European gastronomies to the most distant and exotic cuisines, from seafood to anything that flies or walks.
